Jonathan started in on Micah's behavior as soon as she walked away, going off on no one with only Adam to hear him mutter and carry on. Micah’s idea to leave suddenly seemed like a good one to Adam. Jonathan seemed dead set on making a scene and possibly ruining their night together.

Adam tried to get Jonathan off his high horse and off the couch, but he wasn’t getting through to him until he pulled the older man’s face around and planted a firm kiss on his lips, effectively silencing him.

“Oh, leave off Jonathan,” Adam said, finally using his strength to just pull his boyfriend’s drunken ass off of the couch. “Didn't you notice anything at all familiar about that woman, or are you too far gone tonight?”

“Huh? What do you mean?” Jonathan looked almost comical, his face screwing up into a parody of his normally reserved self.

“Oh, honey. You didn't notice, did you? Let’s just say I really don’t think Olivia is going to be that pissed that Micah showed up tonight.” Adam laughed and kissed the older man thoroughly before dragging him to the elevator. In his state, Jonathan might just fall down the damn stairs.
